Microsoft is taking its first steps to block certain apps on Windows 11. This move could be seen as a way for Microsoft to create the biggest security platform around, but it might also make some popular games and other utilities feel like they need to find an alternative operating system if they want access (or keep their users happy).
The “appraiserres.dll windows 11” is a file that has been found to cause problems for users of Windows 10 and Windows 8.1. The file is not present on Windows 7, but it can still be blocked from using certain apps.

Although Windows 11 seems to be approaching a more stable period of its existence, there are still certain issues with the new operating system that drive people mad.
Apart from the taskbar acting up, which it did throughout the testing time, several programs refuse to operate with the operating system or only work intermittently.
There’s no discernible pattern here; simply a slew of flaws and mistakes that make life a little more tough than it has to be.
Windows 11 is said to be blocking WinRAR and CCleaner.
Many Windows 11 users are really spreading some disturbing rumors across the internet. Some of the most critical programs that we use on a daily basis are incompatible with this operating system.
We’ve probably moved beyond the What is WinRAR? stage, since we’re certain that everyone is familiar with this powerful compression, archiving, and archive management software utility.
Users may compress or archive several electronic files into a single, much smaller folder with this program.
However, complaints are increasingly pouring in that the program and Windows 11 aren’t getting along at the present.
I installed Windows 11 (beta) around a month ago, and it may now be upgraded. Today I decided to conduct a clean install of Windows 11 and attempted to unzip the iso file I had obtained a few days ago from Microsoft’s website. Instead of running the program, I was greeted with a notice stating that you are attempting to install a software that has not been verified by Microsoft. I had no problems with WinRAR only a few hours before. It occurred to CCLEANER the other day.
The iso file will not open in Windows Explorer either.
We understand that many of us depend on WinRAR to compress and distribute files on a regular basis, thus this is a major inconvenience.
Unfortunately, the troubles do not stop there. Other apps are going through the same struggle, so be sure you understand what you’re up against.
CCleaner, originally known as Crap Cleanser, is a system cleaner that cleans possibly undesirable files and incorrect Windows Registry entries from a computer. It was initially released in 2004 and is one of the most well-known.
Isn’t it something we’re all aware of? It was initially exclusively available for Windows, but a macOS version was published in 2012. In 2014, an Android version was also launched.
However, if you’re using Windows 11 and want to utilize this program, be prepared to be startled. Unfortunately, you may not be able to accomplish it at all.
As already said. There doesn’t seem to be any pattern here; instead, customers are seeing random issues that prohibit them from utilizing various programs.
According to reports, consumers said that applications worked perfectly one day and then became utterly unusable the next.
We’ll keep an eye out for any official Microsoft announcements on this, and we’ll keep you updated.
